You guys ROCK!!!! ;-) Sunday, June 8, Last night's show near Boone, NC was SO enjoyable! Appearing with Dixie Dawn Band is ALWAYS a pleasure. David Johnson's multi-faceted musicianship is always superb, as are the wonderful, complementary musical expertise and stage presences of Darryl Bryant, Billy Smith, Ronnie Black and Kevin Rash! Our show theme of "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" included hits from the past, audience sing-a-longs and even some gospel numbers! How enjoyable! Realizing just how MANY genuinely talented folks don't get a chance like this, I am TRULY THANKFUL!!! Friday, October 31, We still have no final product, but our initial reviews are exciting to hear. 98.1 FM's JD Higgins debuted two songs from the album, asking folks to call in and let him know what they thought. He reported that several did call in with very favorable comments. George Hamilton IV thought surely we must've done it in Nashville. :-) STAY TUNED for PROGRESS! Monday, November 24, My Producer (John Craig) has just returned from Nashville. All reviews have been good ones this trip! ;-) Although several of us are in "anxious mode", it DOES SEEM REASONABLE to delay release of the new cd. With the holiday music season fast approaching, the decision has been made to wait until January to release our latest project, "Tribute to Kitty Wells".
